Basic Template 1

A sample fiction template that is ​easy to read. It works best for books without photos or images. The text is set in Adobe Garamond, which is eminently readable and yet provides many finer typographical nuances. The display heads, running heads, and folios are set in Optima, which provides an excellent contrast. With a few adaptations, the design would work well for a simple nonfiction book as well.
